Noise instruments can be delicate and so to protect your investment, we supply all of our measurement kits in a robust aluminium carry case which has been specially designed to hold your Optimus sound level meter and all of its accessories.

To ensure that you get the most from your sound level meter, we would always recommend that you purchase a measurement kits.

Why do I need a measurement kit?

The measurement kits contain all of the accessories needed to use the instrument correctly. Most importantly of all the measurement kit contains an Acoustic Calibrator.

Our recommended products Noise at Work

For Noise at Work, Occupational Noise and Industrial Hygiene measurements, we would recommend the Optimus Red sound level meter. This sound level meter will give you all of the data you need to carry out a noise survey and get the information that is really important to you.

There are several different versions of the Optimus Red and so we would recommend the following optimus sound level meter with calibrator measurement kits:

• CK:162C Class 2 Optimus Red Sound Level Meter with calibrator measurement kit with 1:1 octave band filters, data logging, VoiceTag, AuditStore and the NoiseTools software
• CK:161C Class 1 optimus red sound level meter with calibrator measurement kit with 1:1 octave band filters, data logging, VoiceTag, AuditStore and the NoiseTools software

Our recommended products for Environmental Noise

For environmental noise measurements, we would recommend an Optimus Green Sound Level Meter. These instruments have all of the features of the optimus red but add audio recording, statistical Ln values and repeating measurements. They can also be used with the CK:670 and CK:680 outdoor noise measurement kits.

As with the optimus red, there are several versions of the Optimus Green and so we would recommend the following optimus green sound level meter with calibrator measurement kits:

• CK:1710 Class 1 optimus green sound level meter with calibrator measurement kit with audio recording, Ln values, repeating measurement, VoiceTag, AuditStore and the NoiseTools software
• CK:171B Class 1 optimus green sound level meter with calibrator measurement kit with 1:1 & 1:3 octave bands, audio recording, Ln values, repeating measurement, VoiceTag, AuditStore and the NoiseTools software
• CK:171C Class 1 optimus green sound level meter with calibrator measurement kit with 1:1 & 1:3 octave bands, tonal noise detection, audio recording, Ln values, repeating measurement, VoiceTag, AuditStore and the NoiseTools software

Combined Sound Level Meter & Noise Dosimeter Kits
