New job vacancy – Business Development Executive

We’ve hiring and we are looking for a new Business Development Executive to join our UK sales team.

The Role

Due to expansion, we are seeking a Business Development Executive to work as part of our UK Sales team to sell our noise measurement instruments to all types of businesses across the UK.

Reporting to the Sales Director, the successful candidate will generate his/her own leads, present to customers, produce proposals and negotiate the best commercial terms within agreed parameters.

The role will be primarily home and appointment based with meetings at the head office in Hunmanby on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

  • Focus on achieving and maintaining new business sales targets
  • Developing own sales pipeline within agreed sec tors/companies to drive and close new business and opportunities
  • Ensure strong customer relationships are developed and maintained
  • Deliver product demonstrations to a high standard
  • To work with the Marketing department to devise new campaigns to target new business
  • Attend trade shows
  • Manage existing and new accounts
  • Build and develop a good working relationship with all other departments within the business
  • Strictly follow company policies and procedures

The Person

We are looking for a highly motivated individual who has the desire to achieve. You must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels.

The right candidate will need to be able to demonstrate a proven track record and have excellent references. Experience of selling within the safety and industrial instrumentation industry is preferred but is not essential.

Remuneration

The salary for this position is dependent upon experience and is within the range of £25k – £30k plus quarterly bonus.

A fully funded company car is provided along with a mobile phone and laptop PC.
