Cirrus adds new Intrinsic Safety Certifications to the CR:110AIS doseBadge
We’re pleased to announce that the CR:110AIS version of the doseBadge Noise Dosimeter is now available with Intrinsic Safety Certification to the CSA standards required in Canada.
This new certification has been carried out by FM and adds to the existing FM Intrinsic Safety Certification for the US market.
The CR:110AIS doseBadge also carries Intrinsic Safety Certification to ATEX, IECEx, EEx and SIMTARS for both non-mining and mining applications and has a temperature rating of T6.
This variant of the doseBadge is ideal for hazardous zones and is widely used in the Petrochemical, Pharmaceutical and Mining industries where the robustness of the design and the rugged metal case provide physical protection for the electronics and microphone.
The CR:110AIS doseBadge has all of the features and benefits of the other versions of the doseBadge such as simple operation, no display, controls or cables.
The CR:110AIS version of the doseBadge, which has a gold coloured case to distinguish it from the standard CR:110A version, carries the following Intrinsic Safety Certifications:
