Cirrus Research, experts in the creation and production of noise measurement instruments, has recently acquired a number of new distributors, extending its reach to over 131 countries worldwide.

Cirrus Research continues to increase their already extensive list of worldwide distributors acquired over the past year. UK manufactured noise measurement instruments and equipment are now available worldwide, even in countries such as far flung Mauritius, where Cirrus Research equipment is used to measure noise coming from fishing boats.

Exporting worldwide has always been in Cirrus Research’s culture, as is evident from the Queen’s Award for Export they received in 1991.

Along with its UK base, Cirrus Research has dedicated French, German and Spanish offices, together with carefully selected sales consultants and distributors in countries such as South East Asia, Australia, America and Europe. Throughout the world, organisations and specialist noise consultants rely on Cirrus Research’s noise measurement instruments for reliable results that help them monitor sound in both indoor and outdoor environments.

Commenting on the company’s worldwide expansion, Rick Heap, Sales Director at Cirrus Research comments: “We are delighted with the increase in worldwide distributors and look forward to the opportunities that these bring. Having representation all around the world is a logical progression for Cirrus Research and we look forward to continuing to add to the already long list of countries.”

In order to deal with the increase in worldwide distributors, Cirrus Research has recently recruited new employees. The company’s newest recruits include the appointment of Richard Cutting to Technical Customer Support and Kevin Worth, as the new Business Development Manager, replacing Justin Barker who has become the new Sales Manager at Cirrus Environmental.
