Brexit: what it means for your relationship with Cirrus Research

The United Kingdom left the EU Single Market and Customs Union on January 1 with a new trading relationship in place. I wanted to let you know what we have done to minimise the impact of the new trading arrangements on our relationship with you, and how things will work moving forward.

If you are a UK-based customer, there are no changes for you to worry about and our relationship will continue to operate as business as usual.

If you are a new customer in France, Germany, or Spain, you will purchase equipment through the dedicated sales channel for your territory: Cirrus Research France, Cirrus Research Germany, or Cirrus Research Spain, respectively. If you reside elsewhere in the EU, you should place your order either through your local Cirrus-approved distribution partner, or contact Cirrus Research plc, in the UK, directly.

If you are an existing customer, your established point of contact at Cirrus Research has not changed.

Orders made by customers from inside European Union member states, will be fulfilled by our European distribution centre in Frankfurt, Germany. All stock for the EU market is held inside the European Union, ensuring there are no delays caused by the import/export of goods between the UK and the EU.

Later this year, we are opening a European calibration centre in Frankfurt for our customers based in continental Europe. This will make it easier and more cost-effective for you to have your instruments calibrated, as we will remain competitively priced, offering quick turnaround times and continuing to honour our industry-leading 15-year warranty.

As we move forward under the new UK-EU trading relationship, it is our top priority to remain open to the world, regardless of where you are from. We are doing everything we can to ensure our relationship is not affected in any way. Whether you are purchasing from inside the EU or not, we will always ensure you have access to the very best acoustic instrumentation available on the market.

If you have any questions about what these changes mean for you, please get in touch with a member of our team.
