Following several discussions with members of the Cirrus senior management team, I have made some decisions in light of the growing seriousness of the coronavirus pandemic and the threat it poses to the safety, health and wellbeing of my team.
Our calibration and service department remains open
After consulting with our service and calibration team, the business has decided that due to the continued demand from our customers in key sectors and the passion of our dedicated engineers, that our service centre and calibration laboratory will remain open, under the strictest health and safety regime.
This is to ensure that those who are working in key sectors have access to the services they need to continue keeping their people safe.
The safety of my people is paramount
I can barely put into words how proud I am of our service and calibration team. Their determination to carry on working to help those in key sectors is inspiring.
The business is still taking every precaution and implementing every measure to ensure that those members of our team who are still coming into work, are as safe from and as protected against Covid-19 as possible. This includes daily deep cleaning of work areas and having a smaller team working in our service centre and calibration lab to allow for social distancing to be adhered to. We are also providing gloves, sanitisers and isopropyl wipes, which are used when equipment is received, and before it is sent back to you.
We’re working with a smaller sales and marketing team
This situation is changing on a daily basis, which means the business must be flexible in the way it reacts to it. We are reviewing these decisions constantly, so please keep checking your email inboxes, our social media channels, and our blog, for any further updates that may be made in the coming days and weeks.
