New Instruments

All noise measurement equipment, including acoustic calibrators supplied by Cirrus Research plc are supplied with a Certificate of Calibration. This is the standard Cirrus Research plc factory calibration and is traceable to National standardards. If an additional verification and calibration is required, a range of options are available.

Calibration and Recalibration Options

The standard Certificate of calibration is valid for a period of 12 months from the date given on the Certificate. After this period, Cirrus Research plc recommend that the equipment is returned for a full recalibration and service. The standard service and recalibration provides a certificate of calibration that is again valid for 12 months. The calibration procedure is the standard Cirrus Research plc factory calibration and is traceable to National standardards.

For Acoustic Calibrators and Class+ Microphone Capsules, a UKAS Accredited Calibration is available. Please note that this option is not available for the CR:513A Acoustic Calibrator.
