Three simple steps to making a noise measurement
Step 1 - Switch on
Press the power button.
The instrument will start up and show the last view that you used.
For example, if you've been using the Leq View, this is what you'll see so there's no need to change settings.

Step 2 - Calibrate
Calibrate
your sound level meter to ensure that your measurements are accurate and reliable.
Just put your acoustic calibrator onto the microphone and press the Calibrate button.

Step 3 - Start a measurement
Press the start button and the measurement will begin.
Your optimus will measure everything at the same time, there's no need to worry about what's being recorded or measured.
