> Basic Noise Measurements & Inspections
> Noise Ordinance Enforcement
> Community Noise Assessment

The CR:720B provides for the measurement of TWA, LAVG, % Dose and Estimated % Dose which can be used for the assessment of noise levels in line with the OSHA requirements. The additional of the Peak(C), Maximum and Minimum functions allow the meter to be used
where these extra functions are required.

If the measurement data is downloaded to a PC using the supplied software, the instrument will display the 2nd and 3rd data sets which are

CR:704B & CR:703B Data Logging Sound Level Meters

The CR:700B series is range of high specification Data Logging Sound Level Meters and Personal Sound Exposure Meters. the CR:703B and CR:704B Type 1 and 2 Data Logging Sound Level Meters. All of the instruments are based around a common core, with all measurement functions available to any of the instruments.

The 700Setup for Windows software supplied allows the user to configure the measurement parameters of the instrument. It also allows a new keypad to be printed to suit the requirements of the measurement situation.

The instruments store two different forms of data. The first are the events, which can be started and stopped manually. The instrument can also be programmed to start and stop automatically if required. The measurements provided by each event can be configured as required, and can include functions such as Run Time, Leq, LAmax, LEP,d, Peak(C), SEL, % Dose, Exposure Pa2h, TWA, L10, L50 and L90.

The second data form is time history information, stored as Short Leq samples. The acquisition rate for the Short Leq data can be changed from between 1/16 (0.0625) seconds to 16 seconds, allowing the total measurement period available and data resolution to be adjusted as required.

Both forms of data can be downloaded with the supplied software. The Acoustic Editor for Windows program is require for analysis of the Short Leq information.
