Deaf Defier3 Software
Deaf Defier 3 is a software program developed
for use with the Cirrus CR:800A, CR:800B and
CR:260 Series Sound Level Meters.
The program allows measurements to be
downloaded from the instrument, data stored
in to a database, and the data presented
either for printing or exporting to another
application. Each measurement can be viewed
individually, or in a table which allows a
number of measurements to be compared and
sorted.
The measurement parameters shown can be chosen by the user, allowing the software to be configured to suit the needs of the application for which the software will be used.

• Comment and annotate measurements
• Summary of measurements with calculated exposure and maximum parameters for
Occupational Noise applications
• Graphical display of periodic measurements for Environmental Noise applications
• Basic preformatted reports for Environmental & Occupational Noise Measurements
• Selection of Hearing Protection (where 1:1 Octave Band Measurements are available)
of “level at the ear” based on assumed protection given by hearing protector
database
• Print and export measurements to a wide range of formats including CSV, PDF and
XML
