2008 Noise in Action Photography Competition
Win a pair of Sennheiser Noise Cancelling Headphones
We are looking for interesting, unusual or imaginative images of Cirrus noise measurement instruments in use. This can be in any application or location.
Your entry can include any Cirrus Sound Level Meter or the doseBadge Noise Dosemeter but the photograph must include one of these products in use.
Closing date for entries is the 29th August 2008 and the winning entry will receive a pair of Sennheiser PCX-350 Noise Cancelling Headphones. The runner up will receive a £25 voucher for Amazon.co.uk

Photography competition rules
1. The photograph must contain a Cirrus Research plc Sound Level Meter, doseBadge Noise Dosemeter or Noise Monitor in use. The judges are looking for unusual or interesting images.
2. Pictures should be submitted by e-mail to sales@cirrusresearch.co.uk and pictures should be between 1Mb and 3Mb (1200x900 pixels to 2048x1536 pixels).
3. You must provide Cirrus Research plc with your name, address, telephone number and email details if you wish to enter this competition. Cirrus Research plc will only ever use your personal details for the purposes of administering this competition, and will not publish them or provide them to anyone without your permission.
4. A maximum of one entry will be accepted per person.
5. Each entry must have a title and location and may include an optional description
6. Deadline for receiving entries is 5pm on 29th August 2008. Results will be posted on the Cirrus Research plc website by 4th September 2008.
7. If you are under 16 years of age, you must obtain your parent or guardian’s permission before entering the competition.
8. The first prize is a pair of Sennheiser Noise Cancelling Headphones. The second price is a £25.00 gift voucher for Amazon.co.uk
There is no cash alternative.
9. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
10. You agree to take part in any competition publicity if asked to do so.
11. You must supply full details as required above, and comply with all rules to be eligible for the prize(s). No responsibility is accepted for ineligible entries or entries made fraudulently.
12. By submitting your photograph to Cirrus Research plc you agree to grant Cirrus Research plc, free of charge, the right to publish and the right to licence others to publish the photograph online and in all media as required.
13. By submitting your photograph to Cirrus Research plc you agree to your name being published in relation to your photograph online and in all media
14. Your entry must be entirely your own original work, not defame anybody nor breach any copyright.
15. If your photograph features any recognisable person or people, written permission should be obtained for the image to be entered in the competition and to be published online and in all media as required. Written permission from each recognisable person (or their parents/guardians if under 16) should be submitted for each entry.
16. This competition is not open to any person involved in the running of the competition, or their immediate family members.
17. Cirrus Research plc reserves the right to cancel this competition at any stage.
18. If a winning entrant is unable to be contacted after reasonable attempts have been made to do so, Cirrus Research plc reserves the right to offer the prize to the next best entry.
19. Cirrus Research plc reserves the right to disqualify any entry which breaches any of these rules or to withhold a prize if in its opinion entries do not reach the required standard.
